Immerse Yourself In the Spirit of Anusara

This September our Anusara Immersion at Yoga Anjali will take us all the way to May of 2010. In every sense of the word, this will be a truly enlightening experience for those who attend. This is an opportunity to study the techniques and practices with all the tools of Anusara and with teachers willing to share the therapeutic and heart-awakening benefits of the practice so you can discover how profoundly healing this yoga can be.

Step Into this Current of Grace and you will find yourself in an in-depth exploration of:

Anusaras Philosophy and Vision

Universal Principles of Alignment

Loops, and Spirals, the 3 A's

Ethical precepts and studentship

History of yoga and the 5 elements

Pranayama, Meditation and Chanting

Introduction to the anatomy of the shoulders and hips.

Aspiring teachers and yogis who want to deepen their Anusara practice are encouraged to take this Immersion. This will support you in awakening your heart and living a more meaningful and empowered life of freedom and joy. Through absorption of the life-affirming teachings of Anusara, you will create a more vibrant body, radiant heart, and sharp mind as you integrate the deeper teachings of this practice.

You will dive deeply into the essence of the Anusara method in which the art of the human spirit powerfully blends with the science of biomechanics. You will learn the Universal Principles of Alignment in an in-depth, systematic way, explore the revelatory teachings of Tantra philosophy, and practice the subtle art of pranayama and meditation. Contemplation, journal writing, and a supportive and uplifting community will deepen your experience.

This Immersion offers a comprehensive understanding and embodiment of Anusara Yoga. Each moeeting builds on the previous one. For those intending to continue with Anusara Yoga Teacher Training, completion of this Immersion is a pre-requisite.

Anusara yoga unifies Tantric philosophy with an elegant set of alignment principles accessible to all students. Feel the joy of Anusara with us and discover your own intrinsic goodness and creativity. This is a 100 hour course meeting the 3rd weekend of every month till May. Saturday’s from 12 - 6pm and Sunday’s 12 - 5:30 pm.
$1600 for the year.
